NEWS RELEASE
SOUTH GEORGIAN BAY ONTARIO HEALTH TEAM
*************************
In response to high demand, the South Georgian Bay Ontario Health Team is offering additional dates in June for a cervical cancer screening clinic in Collingwood.

The two-day clinic is for residents in South Georgian Bay aged 25 to 70 who need cervical cancer screening (Pap tests) and do not have access to a local doctor or nurse practitioner.

This community program is helping to support COVID-19 recovery in South Georgian Bay by offloading demand for cancer screening that could not be completed during the pandemic.

The South Georgian Bay cervical cancer screening clinic is being held by appointment only on June 21 and 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Appointments for the clinic are available by booking online through this link or by dialling 211 (24/7 bilingual helpline) for assistance with booking an online appointment. Additional clinics may be added at future dates based on demand.
