The Clearview Public Library is excited to announce that they will receive a $14,000 grant courtesy of the Ontario Trillium Fund’s (OTF) Resilient Communities Fund. The grant will support improvements in programming necessary to serve the community during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

The OTF Resilient Communities Fund was created to support the non-profit sector in Ontario to effectively meet the needs of their communities as they recover and rebuild from the impacts of COVID-19.

Since March of 2020, the Clearview Public Library has adapted its programming to serve residents with curbside service and through the creation of over 20 virtual programs and services. The grant will be used to equip library staff with technology, such as laptops, to maintain and improve the quality and efficiency of those virtual services along with the purchase of a wireless microphone and pillow markers to facilitate physically distanced programs once in-person service is allowed to resume.

The library continues to provide curbside service at all branches. For more information about curbside service and the Clearview Public Library’s virtual programming please click here.
