This regular feature on CollingwoodToday seeks to recognize and thank local frontline and essential workers through community submissions of photographs and words of thanks

Don Churchill would like to say thanks to his daughter, Erin Churchill, a nurse practitioner with the Georgian Bay Family Health Team. Erin has been working at the COVID-19 assessment centre in Collingwood, and that included shifts during Easter weekend. (The ears were for the photo and not part of the PPE she wore in the tent.)

Don said there are 65 family and friends on Facebook who have recognized and thanked her for her work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

CollingwoodToday would like your help in recognizing local essential workers from health care workers, physicians, cashiers and delivery drivers. If you'd like to say thanks to someone you know, please send a photo, their name, their job title, and your words of thanks to [email protected]. Please only send photos and information with permission.
