This International Women’s Day, help us support My Friend’s House!

*Please note: the Women's Shelter Donation Drive is now sold out. If you would like to support Collingwood's My Friend's House, donations can be made directly on their website. We appreciate your support.

CollingwoodToday is stepping up to help My Friend’s House in honour of International Women’s Day. But we need your help! 

For every gift card purchased for the shelter in our online pop-up store, local businesses have offered to match the donation. That means your donation will be matched 12 times!

All donations will support My Friend’s House, and you can purchase a gift card for the shelter until March 7 at 12 p.m.

Please READ THE RULES. Your credit card will be charged at the time of purchase. We recommend you use a credit card, not a debit card. 

Please note: The charge will appear on your credit card as Village Media. No tax receipt is provided for those purchasing a gift card and Village Media will not receive a tax receipt when submitting the donation to the  My Friend’s House on your behalf.

This wouldn’t be possible without the generous local businesses and organizations that work hard to make Collingwood a better place.

Please Read Carefully:

  1. All donations will be charged to your credit card at the time of donation. 
  2. We strongly recommend NOT using a debit card.
  3. Only donations of $25 can be accepted and will go towards the purchase of a gift bag and/or gift card(s), but you can make multiple, separate $25 donations.
  4. All credit card charges will appear as VILLAGE MEDIA on your statement.
  5. A CollingwoodToday.ca account is required for participation in this fundraiser. You can register for an account at: https://www.collingwoodtoday.ca/account/register
  6. You must be signed in to your CollingwoodToday.ca account to participate.
  7. At our sole discretion and for any reason, CollingwoodToday.ca retains the right to revoke an account and cancel any  transactions placed by that account. In the event an account is suspended or transactions are canceled, the account holder will be notified by email. If you have problems registering or logging in, please reach out to our customer service department at [email protected]. 
  8. All registration and information shall remain confidential within Village Media Inc. We will not share your information. 
  9. Donations can be made starting at 12:00pm Toronto time March 1, 2022 and will be accepted until March 7, 2022 at 12:00pm Toronto time.
  10. All transactions (donations) are considered to be final. You will receive a confirmation email after you have made an online donation. 
  11. Tax receipts WILL NOT be issued.
