The Town of The Blue Mountains is encouraging residents, local service clubs and community groups to submit nominees for the Province of Ontario Senior of the Year Award.
Established in 1994, the Senior of the Year Award honours one outstanding local senior in each municipality in Ontario. The nominee must be over the age of 65 and have enriched the social, cultural or civic life of his or her community. Seniors who qualify for this award may have contributed to any number of fields such as the arts, literature, community service, volunteering, education, environment, fitness and humanitarian activities.
To be considered by Council, all nominations must be submitted to the Town Clerk by Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at noon. Please contact the Town Clerk at the information below for nomination instructions and details.
