The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents who are supplied with Municipal water that the annual flushing of fire hydrants and watermains is scheduled to being the week of April 15, 2024.
Residents may experience lower water pressure and minor water discolouration while this work is being completed. If you experience water discolouration, please let your faucets run until clarity is restored. Flushing is expected to be completed by late June or early July.
This routine maintenance is carried out in the spring and fall to ensure proper fire hydrant operation and water quality throughout the water distribution system.
