2022 Canada Day Celebrations Return to In-Person Events

The Town of The Blue Mountains is excited to announce the return to in-person celebrations and events this Canada Day.

Events are scheduled throughout Thornbury, Clarksburg and Blue Mountain Village for everyone to enjoy. The Canada Day parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Clarksburg and will end in Thornbury with birthday cake on Bruce Street at noon. The full schedule is available online by visiting: www.visitbluejuly1.ca

“This is the first in-person Canada Day celebrations since 2019 and the Town is looking forward to working with our partners to bring the community back together to enjoy the celebrations,” says Mayor Alar Soever. “There are many exciting events scheduled through the day, including a pancake breakfast, Georgian Bay British Car Club show, live music, interactive family activities and of course, the Canada Day parade. I encourage all residents and visitors to participate and have fun this Canada Day”.

In addition, the Blue Mountain Village Association will be holding the annual fireworks show at dusk over the Mill Pond. For information about Canada Day activities in the Village, visit:  www.bluemountainvillage.ca/events
