Two new COVID-19 cases reported in Grey Highlands today

Grey Highlands has seen a total of 62 COVID-19 cases and there are currently four active cases in the municipality

The Grey Bruce Health Unit (GBHU) confirmed nine new cases of COVID-19 today, which includes two Grey Highlands residents.

The other seven cases reported today are located in Brockton (2), South Bruce (2), Georgian Bluffs (1), Owen Sound (1) and Southgate (1). 

The health unit has reported a total of 530 cases in the region to date, and notes there are 46 active cases in both counties combined. Two people from the region are being hospitalized.

Active cases in Grey County are currently located in Owen Sound (5), Southgate (6), Grey Highlands (4), Meaford (3), West Grey (6), The Blue Mountains (7), Hanover (2),  Chatsworth (1) and Georgian Bluffs (1). 

The health unit is currently tracking 133 high-risk contacts associated with active cases.

Of GBHU’s 530 cumulative cases, 452 cases have recovered and 32 cases were referred to other health units.

Lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Grey County include: Owen Sound (86); Southgate (77); Grey Highlands (62); West Grey (34); Blue Mountains (32); Meaford (23); Hanover (21); Georgian Bluffs (5); Chatsworth (3).
