Two more cases of COVID-19 confirmed in The Blue Mountains today

In total, the Grey Bruce Health Unit is reporting three new cases in the region since yesterday

The Grey Bruce Health Unit (GBHU) is reporting three new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours - two new cases in the Town of the Blue Mountains (TBM) and one in Southgate.
 
The TBM, which had its first case of COVID-19 reported on Sunday, now has three lab-confirmed cases. Currently, no one is being hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Grey Bruce.
 
The GBHU situation report released today indicates the region has seen a total of 80 COVID-19 cases, with 38 of them now being fully recovered.
 
In the past 24 hours, the health unit reports that there have been no new healthcare workers diagnosed with COVID-19, and there are no new outbreaks in the region's long-term care facilities.  
 
Brucelea Haven in Walkerton, Maple View nursing home in Owen Sound and Sepoy Manor retirement home in Lucknow remain in a state of outbreak.
 
In the report, GBHU also notes that the donation of 81,540 pieces, gloves, various type masks from Bruce Power is currently being distributed to 83 organizations and facilities in Grey Bruce, including long-term care, retirement homes, congregate settings, and shelters.
 
Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Grey County include - Owen Sound (44); Southgate (6); West Grey (5); Grey Highlands (3); Blue Mountains (3); Georgian Bluffs (1); Meaford (1). Bruce County currently has 17 confirmed cases.
