The Blue Mountains is seeking food truck operators for various town parks, including the recreation complex just outside of Thornbury.

The Town of The Blue Mountains is looking for food truck operators.

The town announced this week that it is seeking bids from interested parties to provide and operate food truck services at the following locations:

  • Municipal Recreation Complex – 417230 10th Line, Thornbury
  • Northwinds Beach – 209605 Highway 26, The Blue Mountains
  • Little River Beach - 4 Harbour Street, Thornbury

Those interested are invited to submit bids to operate a mobile refreshment vehicle at one or more of the three locations. Each location has a minimum bid or rental rate for each season of operation:

  • Municipal Recreation Complex – Minimum bid of $1,000 per season
  • Northwinds Beach – Minimum bid of $1,000 per season
  • Little River Beach – Minimum bid of $1,000 per season (equivalent annual BIA fees apply. 2023 fees = $875.41 with 2024 fees to be established)

The deadline for questions about the program is Feb. 27, 2024 and the deadline for submission is March 7, 2024.
