TBM light tour gets competitive with people's choice voting

A festival of lights is underway in Thornbury and Clarksburg from Dec. 22 to 28

Both Thornbury and Clarksburg residents are putting their Christmas spirit on display with a festival of lights.

The Blue Mountains Public Library (BMPL) and the Clarksburg Village Association have challenged residents to compete for the best Christmas display.

In Thornbury, the BMPL is asking the public to take a stroll and vote on your favourite display in three categories: simply charming; outrageous holiday spirit and favourite holiday characters.

In Clarksburg, Christmas displays will be evaluated in six categories: land of inflatables; simplistic; the colour red; most creative; traditional and general.

Residents are encouraged to take a drive or stroll and take in the sights of the season.
