Golf and outdoor pickleball season has arrived in The Blue Mountains.
The town announced this week that the Municipal Recreation Complex will open for the 2024 season on Monday, April 29.
The town’s Tomahawk golf course will open for the 2024 season on that day.
Single rounds for the upcoming season will be $20 per round. Beginning April 22, tee times can be booked up to five days in advance. To book your tee time, please call (519) 599-3131 ext. 350, contact the course online here or visit the starter shack.
Tee times are booked every 10 minutes, with the first being at 8 a.m. and the last at 6 p.m. Please note that tee times are reserved on a first-come/first-served basis. Staff will be onsite at the starter shack the week prior to opening (April 22 - April 26) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for season passes and to begin booking tee times. The town offers the following membership options:
- Residents (16-60 years of age) – $360
- Residents (60+ years of age) – $310
- Non-residents (16-60 years of age) – $415
- Non-residents (60+ years of age) – $360
- Children 16 and Under - Free
In addition, the town is also advising interested businesses that hole sponsorships are available at $320.00 (+ HST) per hole for the season.
The pickleball courts at the recreation complex will also open on April 29.
Starting that day the courts will be open and will be available for use free of charge with no booking required until Sunday, May 13, 2024. Beginning on May 14, the town will be accepting bookings for the season.
