The Blue Mountains will be party to an Ontario Land Tribunal hearing beginning Tuesday, May 24.
The town advised the public this week the hearing regarding the proposed “Abbotts” subdivision in Thornbury would be starting May 24.
The hearing is expected to cover a variety of issues including design and servicing of the subdivision. The town’s participation will focus on issues around the provision of attainable housing.
The town is requesting the 20-unit development include six units that conform to the attainability parameters in the Grey County Official Plan and the Provincial Policy Statement.
