The Town of The Blue Mountains has advised the public that sidewalk inspections will be conducted throughout the town beginning Friday, June 7, 2024.
The inspections will be completed utilizing scooter-mounted sensing technology by StreetScan Inc.
The sensors identify trip hazards, cracks and other obstructions on sidewalks and walkways. Inspections will be taking place on priority and secondary sidewalks.
Local residents are also reminded that sidewalks, roads and general maintenance-related issues can be reported 24/7 by submitting a service request using the town’s Online Service Portal.
