The Western Ontario Wardens’ Caucus (WOWC) is calling on local employers to share their experience in recruiting and retaining employees.

“Our purpose is to enhance the prosperity and overall well-being of rural and small urban communities across the region. Workforce development is a critical tool for creating regional prosperity,” stated the organization in a news release.

The WOWC has launched a survey to gauge the workforce needs of employers and help to identify the opportunities and barriers to workforce development.

The survey asks for details on location, industry, workforce requirements and takes about four minutes to complete. All survey answers will remain confidential.

The WOWC is a not-for-profit organization representing 15 upper and single-tier municipalities in Southwestern Ontario with the purpose of advocating and engaging with other levels of government as one united voice on opportunities, common needs and issues of critical importance to Southwestern Ontario.
