Those interested in learning more about the reconstruction of Grey County Road 40 this summer can do so this week.
Grey County is hosting a come and go public information session on Thursday, April 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg to discuss a summer construction project on Grey Road 40.
The proposed construction period runs from May 6 to September 27.
The project will include:
- Culvert replacement
- Guide rail replacement
- Asphalt pavement widening
The total project investment is $4.21 million. The work will be down on county road 40 between county roads 7 and 13.
During the project, the following restrictions will be in place:
- The road will remain open with intermittent lane closures with traffic control
- Work will be carried out during regular daylight hours
- Local emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times
