The Municipality of Grey Highlands is advising residents of fire hydrant testing that is ongoing in Markdale.
From Oct. 2 to Oct. 6, Grey Highlands will be conducting flow testing at fire hydrants in Markdale as part of fire compliance.
A municipal notice on the testing advised that the work could result in cloudy water conditions, but assured local residents that the quality of the drinking water will not be affected. The municipality said it may be necessary for local residents to run their tap for a short period of time and possibly remove and clean the tap screen if they notice changes in their water.
