The Town of The Blue Mountains has advised the public of upcoming temporary road closures. Louisa Street West and Alice Street West will be closed from Victoria Street South to Elma Street South for the continuation of the Thornbury West Phase 1A Reconstruction project.
The town has tentatively set the closure of Louisa Street to begin on Monday, May 8, with the closure of Alice Street tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday, May 29.
The roads will remain closed seven days a week to all traffic with the exception of emergency vehicles and local traffic.
Further information about the construction impacts can be found here. All construction is anticipated to be completed by August 2023, but the road closures may be lifted before that time based on progress.
