Young photographers in the local area have an opportunity to show off their skills.
The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts has a great opportunity for all the young photographers out there. The organization is hosting a juried photo contest and is looking for youth applicants.
After the jurying process, the photo exhibit will open on Sept. 13 with an online show, and display of the winning images at the foundation’s studio at 65 Simcoe Street in Collingwood.
Youth (students from ages 14-18) may submit their photos for free and their images will receive critique from a panel of professional judges. The deadline to apply is July 31, 2023.
