CSN Blue Mountain will continue to operate with the same commitment to best-in-class service from the same great team.
The Collingwood repair shop, formerly owned by Albert and Emma Hutten, was acquired by Lift Auto Group (Lift) on August 2, 2022.
“We hope this change will continue to elevate the CSN Blue Mountain brand. There's a lot of potential there,” Hutten says.
Hutten and his wife purchased the shop in 2004. When they decided it was time to sell, the Huttens looked at what Lift Auto Group had to offer, and determined that they would be the best fit for the business, helping the shop move forward and continue to grow in the community.
“We successfully built CSN Blue Mountain into a leading state-of-the-art facility in the Collingwood region, and we strongly feel that CSN Blue Mountain can further expand its presence in the community,” Hutten says.
“Lift has the resources, manpower and expertise to accomplish this, and that’s why we chose them instead of the other parties that were interested.”
Lift’s President and CEO, Mark Reineking commented, “we feel very fortunate that the Hutton’s put their trust in us to continue to build on the impressive business and legacy they have created in the community of Collingwood. We are proud to include CSN Blue Mountain in our expanding portfolio of collision repair shops, from coast to coast.”
The CSN Collision Centre network exists to assist independent collision repair facilities to enhance operations through performance assessments, ongoing training, and marketing initiatives. Collingwood residents will still have access to familiar services from well-known local staff, but it will come with the advantage of expanded resources – a benefit that comes from being a member of a larger collective. “So far, the support from the head office group has been appreciated by myself and the staff here,” location manager Dave Sinasac says.
“It’s always nice to have good folks to rely on, who are also industry experts and know how to excel in this business.”
Lift Auto Group has helped CSN Blue Mountain to more efficiently complete customer vehicle repairs, an especially challenging task these days with shipping backlogs affecting parts backorders. CSN Blue Mountain is very well positioned to increase the number of customers the shop can serve, while offering the same great customer experience.
“With the support of Lift, we have a renewed mindset and increased efficiency, and we’ll be able to fix more cars with less strain on our resources.” Sinasac says.
“We have an exceptional team here and this change will ensure both our staff and our customers continue to be properly taken care of. It is important to me that we keep our team and customers happy, and this is another important step in achieving this goal.”
Sinasac hopes that with the support of Lift, CSN Blue Mountain will be able to expand its business. “We’re very happy to be part of Lift Auto Group and I am confident we’ll grow together,” Sinasac says.
