Police seek witnesses in Grey Highlands trailer theft

Area police are looking for help from the public in tracking down a trailer stolen from a Grey Highlands property late last week. 

The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) report the theft took place between 7 p.m. on Nov. 30 and 7 a.m. on Dec. 1 from a property on Grey Road 14. 

A 2015 white streamline, dual axle, 20-foot trailer was stolen, along with various tools such as cordless drills, power saws, rib saws, nailers, screws and handheld tools. The trailer has Ontario Marker #M9918H attached to it. 

"Other items that were on the property were two welders, welding shields, a steel saw and an impact drill were also stolen. The value of stolen items is approximately $40,000," states a news release from the OPP.

Members of the Grey Bruce OPP are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information, they are being asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
