Police seek suspects in rash of The Blue Mountains dumpster fires

THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ON - Officers of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect(s) who set fire overnight to several dumpsters in The Blue Mountains.

The three incidents took place overnight from Thursday to Friday, one at a private residence on Sleepy Hollow Road as well as two other separate locations on Highway 26 in the Craigleith area. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fires prior to the flames spreading to any surrounding structure which limited the damage incurred as a result of these incidents. Police are asking residents to call police if they observe any suspicious person(s).
