Police seek assistance in stolen dump truck investigation

WASAGA BEACH - The members of the Huronia West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are asking the public for their assistance in solving this crime.

On the July 31, 2018 at approximately 7:15 a.m., a stolen 2019 International HX - white with a black 20' dump body from the City of Barrie was located on Bertram Industrial Parkway, Springwater Township off County Road 27. The dump truck was jacked up on blocks with all tires and rims removed. Between Barrie Police and OPP, there have been four recent occurrences involving theft of truck with tires and rims being stolen off them.
