MEAFORD — On Nov. 27, 2021, at approximately 10:50 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Grey County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the Inter Township Fire Department and the Chatsworth Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on the 10th concession in the Municipality of Meaford.
One individual was removed from the residence and pronounced deceased on scene. They have been identified as Eldon Lynk, 81-years-old, from the Municipality of Meaford.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), in partnership with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario (OCCO) and the Ontario Fire Marshal (OFM).
