Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police proactively engage in enforcement of the Highway Traffic Act and other Provincial statutes in the Town of Wasaga Beach, Township of Clearview, and Township of Springwater.
On July 3, officers on ATV patrol issued 31 Liquor Licence Act (LLA) charges along the beachfront in the Town of Wasaga Beach.
Between July 3 and July 4, 2020, in addition to responding to regular calls for service, Huronia West OPP members laid 37 HTA charges, 24 of which were for drivers and/or passengers not wearing a seat belt.
The OPP would like to remind motorists that driving is a privilege and with that comes responsibility. Do your part to help make our highways safe for everyone.
