Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Friday night in Collingwood.
At about 10:45 p.m., officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP responded to a disturbance on Matthew Way. Upon arrival, they began a homicide investigation.
Further information about the incident has not been released, but police said details would be provided as they become available.
Police do not believe there is a risk to public safety, as it is not considered to be a random incident.
Residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area.
