An investigation is underway into the theft of a skid-steer and three pallets of stone from a Thornbury property earlier this week.

Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) report the theft took place around 5 p.m. on July 16 at a Bay Street East property. A Kubota skid-steer was taken along with the pallets of stone.

Police say two males were seen at the property driving a white Ford Econoline cargo van and a two-tone Ford pickup truck, both vehicles were towing flatbed trailers, which were used to take the skid-steer and pallets away.

Police released two surveillance photos showing portions of each vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Collingwood OPP at 1-705-445-4321 or if you wish to remain anonymous you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also leave an anonymous tip online at https://ontariocrimestoppers.ca/
