Local man charged after Centennial Aquatic Centre break in

Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police recently charged a male in relation to a break and enter at a commercial property in Collingwood.

The break and enter took place on Jan. 18, 2019 shortly after 1 a.m. at the Centennial Aquatic Centre on Third Street in Collingwood. The incident caused damage to the front sliding door windows and a small amount of cash was stolen.

Police have now charged 33 year-old Mark West of Collingwood, he is charged with one count of break, enter a place - commit indictable offence and is to appear that Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on Feb. 26, 2019.
