Huronia West OPP have charged two people with a number of offences, including sexual assault.
The Huronia West OPP Crime Unit arrested Jeffery Phillips, 50, of Clearview Township, Oct. 14 and charged him with forcible confinement, sexual assault, failure to comply with a release order (other than to attend court), assault, assault with a weapon, and theft under $5,000. He was held for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody.
Further investigation led police to arrest Troy Dacosta, 28, of Scarborough, Oct. 26. He was charged with the same offences as Phillips, was held for a bail hearing and was set to appear Thursday in Barrie court.
