The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public's assistance identifying an individual involved in a robbery in the Town of Wasaga Beach.

On Sunday March 24, 2024, at approximately 5:00 a.m., the Huronia West OPP received a report of a robbery at a business on River Road West. An unknown individual suspected to have a weapon stole cash before leaving the store on foot.

The individual is described as a male wearing a black and white motorcycle helmet with goggles, motorcycle gloves, a blue and white coat, and black pants.

Huronia West OPP is seeking the public's assistance and requesting that anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has video or dash cam footage that may assist the investigation is asked to contact 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous at 1-800-222-8477 or www.stopcrimehere.ca.
