In the early hours of April 22, 2024, a vigilant citizen contacted police as his high-value Dodge TRX pickup truck was being stolen from an address on Larter Street, Innisfil.
The theft quickly drew the attention and efforts of law enforcement partners in the GTA including the York Regional Police, Ontario Provincial Police and Toronto Police Service.
All services worked together as the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed throughout those jurisdictions.
Through an investigation, the stolen vehicle was located shortly after its theft in the city of Toronto.

There have been no arrests made at this time, however the investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in and around Larter Street, Innisfil, during the early hours of April 22, 2024, to come forward to police or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
