GREY BRUCE OPP

On October 14, 2021 at approximately 7:30 a.m., members from the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting patrols in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Officers stopped a pickup truck after it was found to be travelling at over 120 kilometres per hour (km/h) in a posted 60 km/h speed limit zone.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged Ryan Parrott, 24, of Grey Highlands, with Race a motor vehicle - Excessive Speed, contrary to Section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused was issued a provincial summons to attend court, along with a 30-day driver's licence suspension. The individual's vehicle was towed and will be impounded for 14 days.
