Grey Bruce OPP laid 101 traffic-related charges over the Civic Holiday weekend.
In addition to enforcing the Move Over law, police were on the lookout for the ‘big four’ — distracted driving, alcohol/drug-impaired driving, speeding/aggressive driving, and lack of seatbelt use.
Four people were charged with impaired driving. Police also laid 63 speeding charges, three stunt driving charges and four charges for failure to wear a seatbelt.
Grey Bruce OPP also investigated 11 collisions during the long weekend.
