Detectives from the Crime Unit of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing their investigation into a fire which took place on First Street yesterday morning, and have now deemed it an arson. 

At approximately 5:26 a.m. on July 19 2018, OPP officers and firefighters from the Collingwood Fire Department were called to the incident at a commercial property on First Street in Collingwood. 

The ongoing investigation, with the assistance of the Ontario Fire Marshal, has found that the fire originated from a vehicle being used as a food truck located on the property. No one was hurt in the incident and further details will be released when they become available.
