ATV stolen while homeowner slept: police

A Flesherton resident awoke at 2:30 a.m. to the sound of an ATV on the property and discovered his dirt bike and ATV missing, say police

The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is looking for help finding a stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and dirt bike that were taken from a Flesherton property last week. 

According to a news release from OPP, a North Street resident awoke shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 2 to the sound of an ATV on his property. Police were called for a theft in progress and the homeowner noted his ATV and dirt bike were missing. 

The ATV is a green 1989 Yamaha Big Bear 350 and it has a Champion winch on the front. The VIN is JY43HNW04MC074374.

The dirt bike is a red and black 1985 Cagiva 125, two-stroke. 

Members of the Grey Bruce OPP are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information, they are being asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
