4 locals facing drug trafficking charges after police seize $20K in suspected drugs

Of the four, two are also facing drug possession charges as well

Members of the Collingwood Detachment Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged four people in connection to a drug trafficking investigation in Collingwood.

In September 2021, the Collingwood CSCU commenced an investigation into cocaine and fentanyl trafficking in Collingwood. On Oct. 26, 2021, a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA) search warrant was executed at a local residence with assistance from members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP. Officers seized a large quantity of fentanyl, cocaine, cash and other controlled substances with an estimated street value of over $20,000.

As a result of the investigation, four persons have been charged with CDSA-related offences.

Rene Morris, 34 years of age, of Collingwood, has been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - fentanyl
  • Possession of schedule I - cocaine
  • Possession of schedule I - fentanyl

Dustin Leblond, 32 years of age, of Collingwood, has been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - fentanyl
  • Possession of schedule I - cocaine
  • Possession of schedule I - fentanyl
  • Possession of property obtained by crime - two counts
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order

Terry Vollick, 50 years of age, of Collingwood, has been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine

Lisa Hendry, 43 years of age, of Collingwood, has been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine

The accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood, on Dec. 14, 2021.
