Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday December 10, 2023. Dennis was the loving husband of Eftychia “Effie”, proud father of Chrisoula and cherished Papou of Dennis.
Dennis was born in Greece to parents Xristos and Chrisoula. He is survived by his brother Miltadis; predeceased by brothers Costas and Dimitris and sister Toula. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Dennis was a well-known restaurateur in Collingwood, he owned and operated Georgian Bay Family Restaurant, where he treated everyone like family. He was a very hard worker; he was kind, and generous and his number one priority was always his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Friends will be received for visitation at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Sunday December 17, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10 a.m. on Monday December 18, 2023. Spring interment at Westmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society in memory of Dennis.
