Carol Ann Weir (nee Scudder) - of Collingwood passed away peacefully at Meaford Long Term Care Centre, Meaford on Monday July 17, 2023 in her 82nd year. Loving wife of the late James "Jim" Weir. Dear mother of Dawn Bowins, David (Lynda), Michael (Marie), Mark (Valerie). Cherished grandmother of Michelle Burlock (Joe), Mathew Bowins (Lindsay), Luke Weir (Reilly), Rebecca Weir, Joseph Weir, Haley Weir and Cassidy Weir. Cherished GG to Ty and Taiden Burlock, Sydney and Jackson Bowins, Hunter Weir and Olivia Weir. Loving sister of Gloria (Wes) Bullock, Wanda Lewin (Pat) and sister in law of Bill (Lorraine) Weir, Sandra Shannon (Norman Kopperud) and Darlene Weir (the late Laurie). Carol will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Graham (nee Currie) Scudder, brother Rick Scudder, sisters-in-law Lorraine Weir and Rhea Borland.

Carol worked for many years in the Collingwood Post Office. She was an avid reader, loved to garden and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

Friends are invited to join Carol’s family at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Friday July 21, 2023 from 1 o’clock until the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2 o’clock.
