Leonard Charles Temporale, 79, of Collingwood, passed away on June 7, 2022 after a lengthy battle with chronic inflammatory lung disease with his family at his side.
Len was born on August 25, 1943 to Gina and Peter Temporale in Port Credit, Ontario. He loved life and vino and was passionate about hockey, golf and many other sports. Growing up, he was a member of several local hockey teams and spent his winters skating on the family backyard rink late into the night. Throughout life he could often be found on the ice or swinging a club at the golf course.
After meeting Leona (Monaco) in his late teens, they wed in 1965 and had two children, Peter and Michael, and divorced in 1980. He later met Lise Meyers and they married in 1999.
Len is survived by his wife, Lise Meyers; his brother, Richard (Judie); his sisters, Christine Finan (Bill), and Gloria Van Houten (Jim Cole); his children, Peter (Chantal Panning), Michael (Kendra), and Jessica Meyers; his grandchildren, Dana, Darren, Nicole, and Hudson; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
