SPENCE, Mellburn Harland 'Mel'

Passed away peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia, ON, on Tuesday, November 20th, 2018 in his 91st year. Mel, beloved husband of the late Doris (nee Stewart). Loving father of David and his wife Sherri Neely. Dear Grampa of Pamela (Brian) Patterson, Devon Spence and Great-Grampa of Ella Gagno-Spence and Evan Patterson. Dear brother of Jake (Cheryl Underdown), Muriel (Don) Schenk and the late Alfred, Bill, and Marge. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be at Chatterson Funeral Home on Friday, November 23rd, 2018 from Noon to 1 pm followed by a Celebration of Life in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment of ashes at Stayner Union Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
