SPEERS, Deborah Joyce (nee Higdon)

Died peacefully on Saturday August 20, 2022 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 65.  Debbie of Collingwood, loving mother of Genevieve Speers and Justin Speers.  Predeceased by her parents Colin and Delores Higdon.  Dear sister of Bonnie (Richard) Everson, Brendon (Ruth), Christine (Stan) Cumby, Colin (Barbara), Bruce (the late Lori Higdon), Zelda Low, Roxanne (the late Wayne denBok), a late infant boy and Wade (Deborah Bloxam).  She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and her many friends.  Debbie was a kind and cheerful woman.  She worked for many years as a residential cleaner and many of her clients became her friends.  She will be deeply missed.  A celebration of Debbie’s life is being planned for September.  Details will follow.  If desired, a donation to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society would be appreciated by her family.  To sign Debbie’s Book of Memories, please visit www.carruthersdavidson.com
