Died peacefully at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the age of 83.
Anne, a long-time resident of Wasaga Beach, was the beloved wife of the late David Spanton. Loving mother of Sandy (Robert), the late Donny, Doug (Barb) and Michael (Sharlene). Cherished grandmother of Braden, Deven, Coulten, Jessie, Ian, Elijah, Caleb, Jacob. Treasured great-grandmother of Brock. Dear sister of the late James, the late Marshall, Helen and Billy Rae. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Anne was a long-time mail courier with Canada Post and loved to travel and spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
At Anne’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services. A private family interment will be held at the Wasaga Beach Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anne to the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by the family.
