It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Henry on Feb. 6, 2022 at home in Wasaga Beach, just days after celebrating his 95th birthday. As well as his wife, Eileen Winifred who left us on Sept. 15, 2021. They are now reunited with their loving daughter Joanne (Tom). Left to mourn are their children Jennifer (Dave), John (Kathleen) and James, as well as their grandchildren Ryan (Amy), Adam (Heather), Siobhán, John (Jamie), Michael (Vittoria), Christopher, Cameron, Catherine (Nadia) and 12 great-grandchildren.
John and Eileen immigrated from London, England with two small children in 1953. Through hard work and dedication, they made a good life for their growing family. They enjoyed fifty summers at the cottage on Methodist Island as well as many winters in Florida after John retired. They provided many life lessons for their beloved family.
Funeral Mass will take place at St. Noel Chabanel Catholic Church, 133 Dunkerron Ave., Wasaga Beach on Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 2pm. Online condolences may be offered at www.carruthersdavidson.com
