Died peacefully with his loving wife and family by his side at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the age of 73.
Peter, of Wasaga Beach, was the beloved husband of ThaiLyn for 15 years. Loving father of Lynn (Jason), Laura (Christopher) and stepfather of Terri (JR) and Jason (Rosanna). Cherished grandfather of Carter, Aimee, Addison, Zariah, late Cole, and Mackenzie. Dear brother of Anne (Frank), CJ (Jane), and brother in law of the late Gale (Robert), William (Bobbi), Robert (Sherry), and Heather (Dianne). Peter will be lovingly remembered by his family and many friends he made while boating, playing with model trains, corvette trips or sitting back and sipping a Kraken and coke. He lived a wonderful and full life; indeed, his glass was always said to be full, right up to his very last days.
A very special thank you to the extraordinary care, kindness and respect Peter received from Dr. Alyssa Boyd and the entire team of Nurses, PSW’s and volunteers at Hospice Georgian Triangle. Also, to the Living Wish Foundation for making a seemingly impossible wish come true and a beautiful memory forever forged.
At Peter’s request, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach for a celebration of Peter’s life on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with words of remembrance being shared at 2:30 p.m.
