It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Delores Scott (nee Gillespie) on October 2,2023 at Southlake Hospital in New Market. Anne was a free spirit with her caring heart. She will be missed by all who knew her. She liked tennis, downhill skiing and foreign travel which included trips to France, Spain, the U.K., the Scandinavian countries, St. Marten’s, Belize, China, Japan and the United States. Her favourite poets were Leonard Cohen and Kahlil Gibran.
Anne was born in Meaford, Ontario on October 18, 1946. Anne was the daughter of Herman and Henrietta Gillespie of Mulmur. Anne was a Restaurateur (“The Valley Court”, Mill St., Creemore); Activity Director, Creedan Valley Nursing Home 1975-1992; a Food Service Supervisor a realtor and a Christmas Tree Farmer. She is survived by Douglas H. MacIntosh her beloved common-law husband of 46 years; by her son Brent Elliot Scott of Murmur, by her daughter Dana Adel Oyarce and her Grandsons Christopher David and Jordan Jose Oyarce all of Florida, and by her brothers Ross and John Gillespie and by her nieces Cecily Heslett, and Reba Gillespie and nephew Tim Gillespie.
