Ridgeway, Katherine Jo Anne “Kathy” (nee Tuffin)
It is with great sadness that we announce that Kathy Ridgeway passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 23, 2023, at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital at the age of 71.
Predeceased by her husband Don Hrycyk “Bojo”. Kathy was the loving mother of Julie (Chuck) Van Blankers and cherished grandma of Shane (Ashley) and Marlee (Jonathon). Born in Guelph to parents the late Clarence and Matilda Tuffin, she was predeceased by her brothers Wayne, Gary, and Charlie (Mary). She was loved by her nieces, nephews and by all those who knew her. To know her was to love her.
It is hard to imagine the future without Kathy, she was truly one of a kind; her sense of humour and the way she loved her family was unparalleled. She was wise and a true source of strength. Spending time with the people she loved brought her great joy, especially her canine companion Tyrone, who will miss her dearly. Her family will treasure their memories and hold her in their hearts forever.
