Passed away with peace, dignity and prayer at Sunset Manor, Collingwood, Ontario, on Friday April 5th, 2019, in his 89th year.
Heinz, devoted husband of the late Hildegard (2014) for 59 years. Loving father of Karen and her husband Alex Jordan of Mississauga, Denise and her husband Jimmie Spears of Collingwood and lovingly missed, our dearest Doris Rehbein (2009). Cherished Opa of Adam (Stephanie) D'Oliveira, Andrew (Trisha) D'Oliveira, Ashley Sheffer and Emily Spears. Proud Uhropa of Aidan, Cohen, Callum, Madison, Makenzie, Isabella, Mavrick and Lovelee. Dear brother of Inge (Bernd) Eibisch and the late Gerdi and Kurt Rossel, sister-in-law Helga (and the late Heinz) Hutt and the late Ursula Schumann. Will lovingly be remembered by the many nieces and nephews and cousins in Germany and in Canada. Dad knew how to seize the day. He loved life, the lake and the call of the loon. Until we all meet on the road home. Visitation will be held at the Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood, Saturday May 4th, 2019 from 11 am to 12 pm, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at noon and interment at the First Presbyterian Cemetery, Collingwood. (Luncheon to follow). Donations made in Heinz's memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
