RAUSCH, Robert James

Died peacefully with family by his side on Thursday March 21, at Campbell House hospice, Collingwood following a valiant battle with prostate cancer for over five years at the age of 63.  Bob of Stayner is predeceased by his wife Kimberly (2018). Loving father of Brandon (Roshell) and Geoffrey (Ashley). Cherished Papa of Theodor and Caelum.  Loving partner of Cindy Martel.  Bob will also be missed by Cindy’s daughter Sara, by his many friends and neighbours.  Bob was a kind man who made friends easily.  He had a long career as a trucker, spending time behind the wheel for many local companies such as Neil’s and Lowe’s. He would often drive for hours without the radio on, just listening to his truck and focusing on the road.  He will be dearly missed.  Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel on Saturday March 30, for visitation at 12 noon followed by the Funeral Service at 2 p.m.  If desired, a donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by his family.  To sign Bob’s Book of Memories, please visit www.carruthersdavidson.com.
