Passed away peacefully at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital on Friday October 28, 2022 in his 97th year. Hugh Ransier beloved husband of Beatrice Ransier (nee McGibbon). Loving father of the late Sandra Adams (Trevor). Brother of Margaret Kerr (the late Doug), Mary Lawson (the late Don), the late Jim Ransier, the late George Ransier and the late Rose Underdown. Brother – in law of Jean Handy, Elaine Currie and the late Bessie Baird and Sandy McGibbon. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Hugh and Beatrice farmed for many years on the 10th Line, Nottawa. The family will receive friends at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Wednesday November 2, 2022 from 10:30a.m. to 12:00p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 12:00p.m. A reception will follow the service.
