Died peacefully on Saturday December 25, 2021 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Center, Barrie at the age of 71. Heather of New Lowell, beloved wife of Vernon for over 50 years. Loving mother of Julie (Steve Scott) and Deb (Randy Lamers). Cherished grandmother of the late Troy Scott, Kristen Scott, Lauren Lamers and Eryn Lamers. Dears sister of Gord (Bonnie) Watson and Kathy (Rick Masson). Heather will also be missed by her nieces, great nieces and nephews, neighbours and many friends. She was a kind and funny loving woman who loved her family deeply. She enjoyed family gatherings, baking with her grandchildren and living on her farm. She will be missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel on Thursday December 30, 2021 from 2 to 6 p.m. for memorial visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by Heather’s family.
